As Laboratory Manager, I was responsible for leading and managing the entire tissue culture plant production process, from planning propagation to international delivery. My role encompassed production planning, quality control, process optimization, and ensuring customer orders were fulfilled according to quantity, quality, and delivery targets. I coordinated cross-functional teams and applied biotechnology best practices to achieve operational efficiency and export compliance.
- Lead and manage all laboratory operations for plant tissue culture propagation, ensuring high productivity and consistent quality.
- Develop and execute production plans aligned with customer orders and export targets.
- Oversee the entire process lifecycle, including explant preparation, multiplication, rooting, acclimatization, and shipment.
- Ensure strict adherence to sterile techniques, biotechnology protocols, and international phytosanitary regulations.
- Monitor and control production schedules to meet domestic and overseas customer demand.
- Implement and supervise quality control procedures to minimize contamination and maintain plant health standards.
- Coordinate with logistics teams to manage packaging, documentation, and export processes.
- Manage manpower planning, training, and performance evaluation of laboratory staff.
- Optimize resource utilization (media, materials, and facilities) to maximize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate with R&D for continuous improvement, new product development, and innovation in tissue culture techniques.
