Senior Planner LCS
Senior Planner LCS (Life Cycle Cost) responsible for developing and implementing cost-effective strategies for the maintenance, repair, and replacement of equipment and infrastructure within a mineral processing plant. Working closely with engineers, technicians, and other stakeholders to ensure that the plant operates efficiently and sustainably over its entire lifespan. Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting Life Cycle Cost Assessments:
- Assessing the total cost of ownership for various equipment and infrastructure options.
- Identifying cost-saving opportunities through improved maintenance practices, energy efficiency measures, and optimized asset management.
- Developing and implementing cost-effective maintenance strategies.
- Developing and Implementing Maintenance Plans:
- Creating and updating maintenance plans for all plant equipment and infrastructure.
- Scheduling preventive and predictive maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and optimize asset performance.
- Ensuring that maintenance activities are carried out efficiently and effectively.
- Managing Spare Parts Inventory:
- Optimizing spare parts inventory levels to minimize costs and ensure that critical components are always available.
- Developing and implementing inventory management strategies.
- Monitoring and Analyzing Equipment Performance:
- Tracking equipment performance and identifying areas for improvement.
- Analyzing equipment failures and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Coordinating with Other Departments:
- Working closely with engineering, operations, and procurement departments to ensure that maintenance activities are aligned with overall plant objectives.
- Collaborating with other stakeholders to identify and implement cost-saving initiatives.
- Staying Up-to-Date on Industry Trends:
- Keeping abreast of new technologies and best practices in the field of maintenance and asset management.
