Under Rofiq's management and leadership in project implementation, KOLTIVA empowers producers through human-centered technology solutions that promote sustainable agriculture practices and increase productivity. KOLTIVA's boots-on-the-ground approach to supply chain mapping and verification, training and coaching, and monitoring product traceability has resulted in thousands of producers being trained and coached, millions of hectares of farm plots and production areas have been verified while ensuring seed-to-table transactions are recorded.
Rofiq's journey in sustainable agriculture began with the cacao commodity project in Aceh, where he recognized the need for a more comprehensive and integrated solution to address challenges such as the lack of synchronized data in the field due to outdated manual recording systems. In response, he and his co-founders developed an application for data management that covers the entire value chain from seed to table. This innovative solution became available in 2013 when KOLTIVA was founded.

STEP and PEKA Project 2010 - 2011
Designing and implementing the monitoring system of the Skills Training and Employment Promotion (STEP) and Peningkatan Ekonomi Kakao Aceh (PEKA) project in Aceh includes developed tools of beneficiaries’ data system, survey and impact assessment Small and Medium Sized Enterprise data, internship, provisional skill development, and program data system design for Human Resource, development of IT policy and procurement procedure. PEKA project was financed by Multi Donor Trust Fund for Aceh and supervised by the World Bank; PEKA is a sub-project from the Economic Development Financing Facility. The project objective was to improve the cocoa economic in Aceh Province, providing direct training to 13,000 cocoa farmer, cocoa trader, and agriculture extension Workers from the Local Government.

SPAN and MTU Banda Aceh Project 2008 – 2009
Designing and implementing the monitoring system of the Swiss Project for Business Recovery (SPAN) in Aceh and North Sumatra and Managing the Mobile Training Units in Aceh. Designing and implementing tools of beneficiaries’ data system, survey and impact assessment Small and Medium Sized Enterprise data, internship, provisional skill development, and program data system design for Human Resource. The project supported more than 1,300 small and medium enterprises and contributed to creation and retention of more than 2,000 jobs. 6,000 Acehnese received training in 11 skills throughout the Aceh Province.
