Having lived in many states and having family members affected by substance use, I’ve gained a personal understanding of how addiction impacts individuals and their loved ones. This background has strengthened my empathy, patience, and commitment to supporting people on their recovery journey. As a Criminal Justice major, I’ve further developed my knowledge of the drug epidemic through coursework such as Criminal Justice 204, which explores the societal and legal impacts of substance use. I am eager to apply both my lived perspective and academic foundation in a professional setting that prioritizes safety, compassion, and rehabilitation. I am currently seeking opportunities that offer hands-on experience within treatment and recovery-focused environments.
