Teaching Philosophy

My teaching philosophy is that all children are unique and will be valued as human beings with valid feelings, preferences, and learning needs. I will strive to create a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom that is student-centered. All students will be held to high expectations so that they learn that they are capable of working hard and achieving big goals.

I am becoming an educator because of my own passion for learning. I want to share this passion with students and help them find a love for learning.  I love watching students overcome challenges and start to understand the concepts. I also strive to make a real difference in my students’ lives. I want to help students build confidence, inspire creativity, and encourage my students to do things outside of their comfort levels. Being an educator is more than a job; it’s about making a difference in the lives of our students.
