  • Safely and efficiently operate batch control systems to produce concrete that is within the requirements of the mix design.
  • Practice safe work practices while performing elevated work, confined space operations, performing lock-out tag-out, and filling out a safe plan of action forms prior to beginning all tasks.
  • Perform pre-task inspections to ensure that all parts of plant perform as intended when in production.
  • Diagnose and aid in the repair of hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, or mechanical systems that make up a central mix concrete plant.
  • Collaborate with quality control to improve, and test mix designs in order to achieve desired slump, unit-weight, air content, and break strength.
  • Communicate effectively with operators and supervisors on technical level.
  • Maintain a teachable atmosphere to promote a safe work environment with confident, and observant employees that strive for being proactive instead of reactive.
  • Keep accurate records of incoming materials, while also tracking material usage.
  • Print, and fill out reports for production summaries, plant inspections, material inventory, incoming materials, and material usage.
  • Operate other heaving equipment when needed. Such as forklifts, fronted loaders, skid-steers, and man lifts.
  • Assist as needed in the operation of a concrete waste processing/ filtration system to reduce incurred concrete into raw materials and clean water with an environmentally safe P.H. Level.
  • Perform calibrations as needed to ensure scales and meters are accurate.
