Work History

HVAC Technician

RSJ Mechanical
07.2020 - Current

During my time at RSJ Mechanical, it has been at the fore front of my career to keep the customer/ contractor satisfied, this is backed by multiple five star reviews and happy clients as well as my name being brought up among many contractors that have been and still are very satisfied with my quality of work and work ethic. I have educated and informed many homeowners on the applicable settings and or workings of the HVAC systems that are installed on their homes. Happily answering any question that is presented to me, offering answers and solutions that is backed by a knowledgeable HVAC technician. I strive to make sure that I have never left a customer feeling dissatisfied an or unhappy with the customer service offered. If a problem does arise, I make sure to do everything I can to walk out the door with viable solutions being presented to resolve the problem. With that being said, I have advanced through many positions at RSJ Mechanical. Starting again as a laborer and green horn, I have worked my way up the ladder through positions that include install assistant, install foreman, basic service tech, and now the leading foreman on the only finishing trim crew. I have completed four years of trade school, been certified through the EPA as licensed to handle refrigerant, and received over 15 dollars an hour in raises through my five years of employment. I am knowledgeable in the basic understanding of refrigerant systems, the instillation of most systems, and take a very serious amount of pride in my work. Quality is at the core of everything I do and regardless of the stress levels thrown upon my plate, I have never deviated from my core principle. I now have had the pleasure to work along side my fiance and train her from a basis of no knowledge of refrigeration to a knowledgeable apprentice. I have successfully installed well over 50 ac units from basic one stage to that of heat pumps and minisplits. In total, I have staked my name on well over 60 or more homes in the time of my career with RSJ, a decent chunk of these have been with my name as the finishing marker. As it stands now with my current employer, I would say there are none that know the combined amount of knowledge I have, besides management. Last but not least, I am the only trained duct cleaning technician, offering a viable opportunity to the company that keeps that aspect running. I have strived to seek every opportunity that has been laid before me and continue to hope that doors may open.

Roofing Specialist

Briggs Roofing
05.2016 - 05.2020

While employed at Briggs Roofing over the four year span I was there, I went from a basic laborer, to right hand man, then on to tearoff foreman, finishing with becoming a project manager. I assisted in every aspect of the roofing install wether it be flat roofing, shingle install (low/steep slope), metal install (low/steep slope), and or roofing removal/ clean up. I did tend to favor metal work as it really allowed for a clean finish that showed the customer and or contractor the attention to detail on a finished roof. My biggest accomplishment during the time I was at Briggs Roofing, was running the Yellowstone Club portion that Briggs Roofing was involved in. The Yellowstone Project consisted of multiple multi-million dollar complexes that involved copper work such as copper drip edge, copper snow retention systems and finished with a Davinci Shingle system. I was a major part in making sure the day to day operations of the crews I oversaw were successful and smooth, also that material was delivered timely. I coordinated with inspectors from Colorado that were hired on for managing and overseeing the roofing removal/install and I was tasked with fixing and or lining out the crews to make corrections, as well as uploading photos and sidenotes that showed the corrections were complete. In total, I spent a combined amount of three months, and oversaw two to four different crews on any day. It was hands down, the biggest undertaking of my time in any trade so far.
