This job required me to not only deliver customers orders, but also assist in taking orders, answering the phones, open the store and prep food for the day, along with cleaning and dishes. It was a very fast paced environment and so I was required to adapt well to stressful situations and busy rushes.

TJ Maxx had a very big emphasis on building a team in order to help build the business, I worked with other people to put new items on racks and shelves, assisted customers with questions and ringing up their items, I also worked hard to maintain order and neatness on the floor to help with closing and overall cleanliness of the store.

At Fairwinds I assisted older residents living in the building by taking their food orders, bringing them their drinks and sides, and building connections. I learned new skills like how to build relationships with an older generation which brought new life lessons and important skills.

At this job I assisted customers by taking orders, making food, handling money, answering the phone, along with restocking and preparing the store. This job strengthened my communication skills and taught me how to succeed in a fast paced environment.
