In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, working in the Office of Queensland’s Chief Health Officer, providing triage, assessment, and case management of exemption requests under Queensland border directions.

• Remote emergency department on an indigenous Island in the Torres Straight; referral/treating hospital for 274 small indigenous Islands.
• Here I worked between a general ward and emergency

• Working autonomously in a 2 bed rural emergency department as well as on a small general ward.

• 31 bedded general surgical unit with very high patient turn over; providing pre and post operative care.

• Providing pre and post op care in a fast paced 22 bed general surgical ward.

• Working in a fast paced 20 bed surgical ward providing pre and post op care.

• Working prominently with indigenous patients and families between a 4 bed high dependency unit and a 24 bed general ward

• Cardiac Cath lab, pre op and post op care.

• 8 bedded coronary care unit with 2 patient ratio.

• Working in a rural 4 bed Emergency and 20 bed general ward.

• Provided care to incarcerated patients in a mens correctional facility.

• Here I worked between emergency, general wards and high dependency in a 68 bed regional hospital.

Here I completed my new graduate programme, working in a surgical high dependency unit with a 1-2 patient ratio.
