In July of 2000 I was hired as a temporary housekeeper in the surgical services department at Mark Twain Hospital, after a few months I was approached by my manager and asked if I would be interested in learning how to scrub in on surgeries I was trained by other nurses and surgical technicians and most importantly the surgeons. I continued to scrub at the same hospital for 23 years. In January of 2023 I decided I wanted less call so I could spend more time with my family and took an opening they had posted in central processing.
While they were in the process of training me we made the decision to move to Idaho to be closer to family.
