  • As a strategic member of the senior management team in SurfAid Indonesia, HPI provides leadership in managing the operational implementation and successful delivery of the SurfAid Programs in line with SurfAid values and donors’ expectations. HPI represents SurfAid Indonesia for the strategic program discussion with SurfAid International Headquarters.
  • HPI managed 3 team leaders (PM) and 4 Specialists and was a budget holder of NZD 5,5 million.
  • Deliverables/Outcomes: 1. All baseline assessments for the new projects in new areas are implemented.
  • 2. All project documents, especially MOU & annual workplan (RKT) in new program areas are completed & signed.
  • 3. Local governments in new areas provided necessary support for new programs.
  • 4. Staffing & offices in the new program areas are ready to go.
  • 5. All new staff get sufficient sessions on induction, especially safeguarding.

  • NUSATANI Manager was a member of the senior management team in SurfAid Indonesia. This position is the one who is responsible for ensuring that projects in program areas are implemented in accordance with donor contracts and SurfAid values. NM managed the field office staff and local partners to undertake their roles and responsibilities effectively and regularly implement and maintain a regular system of project monitoring and evaluation.
  • NM managed 2 team leaders (PM) in 2 areas (Sumba Barat & Bima) and 4 Specialists and was a budget holder of NZD 3 million.
  • Deliverables/Outcomes: 1. Smooth communication and coordination with the government of Bima & Sumba Barat.
  • 2. Agreed & signed annual workplan (RKT) with local governments.
  • 3. 4 demonstration farms in Bima & Sumba Barat were established, maintained and well-functioned after the project was closed.
  • 4. Secured project annual & monthly budget planning until the end of the project.

  • SurfAid International is a non-profit organization working towards healthy and resilient communities in remote areas connected through surfing. PM represented SurfAid Indonesia at the level of district and province, or at national and international level on request of Country Director. PM responsible to ensuring that projects in Sumba were implemented in accordance with SurfAid values, policies and procedures with respect to Code of Conduct plus 5 organizational policies (Child Protection, Gender, Anti-fraud, Combating Sexual Exploitation, Inclusion & Environment).
  • In Sumba, PM was managing a team of 15 persons (program & support) and was a budget holder of AUD 200K-300K per year.
  • Deliverables/Outcomes: 1. 4 village regulations (Perdes) of revitalization of Posyandu & 2 Perdes of establishment of water committees at Laboya Barat sub-district.
  • 2. All posyandu in Laboya Barat sub-district were revitalized.
  • 3. 3 new water facilities/system at Laboya Barat sub-district built.
  • 4. 3 existing water facilities/system at Laboya Barat sub-district improved.

  • LORTECHS was the person who was assigned by National Office KINERJA–USAID to continue its support until the end of the project in June 2015. LORTECHS facilitated selected local governments to replicate and consolidated KINERJA’s interventions in health and education. The coverage includes a focus on one treatment district and one replication district, but also was intended to support four treatment districts as requested by the relevant districts.
  • Deliverables/Outcomes: 1. 3 districts (partner) continued good practices of ‘KINERJA’s approach’ after the project ended, using their local budget (APBD).
  • 2. 1 other district (non-partner) replicated ‘KINERJA’s approach’ using their local budget (APBD).
  • 3. Bupati decree on birth delivery by health workers.

Provincial Coordinator

  • Provincial Coordinator (PC) serves as a technical and administrative liaison between the National Office and the district-based Local Public Service Specialists. PC represented Project in the regions, coordinated with province and district level stakeholders, document project innovations, conduct administrative functions, overseen programs of sub-grantees in the regions and coordinated and facilitated the dissemination of project activities to other regions.
  • PC also functions as a head of Regional Office; supervised 5 LPSSs (program coordinator at district level), provincial finance/grants officer, administrative assistant and driver. PC was also managing 4 local NGOs (as implementing partner) and their structure in province & district level.
  • Deliverables/Outcomes: 1. 5 partner districts continued ‘KINERJA’s approach’ after the project ended, using their local budget (APBD).
  • 2. 1 district (non-partner) replicated ‘KINERJA’s approach’ using their local budget (APBD).

Local Public Service Specialist

  • Local Public Service Specialist (LPSS) coordinate program implementation in the district level with key stakeholders (both government and non-government institutions) including monitoring and evaluation. LPSS oversees project interaction in the district and facilitates the provision of technical assistance to counterparts for the improvement of public service delivery in the sectors of health and education.
  • LPSS was managing 4 local district-based NGOs. Each NGO had 2-4 field staff.
  • Deliverables/Outcomes: 1. Bupati decree on MCH (KIBBLA).
  • 2. Establishment of Multi Stakeholder Forum (MSF) at district level → civil society voluntary based.

CLCP has applied in Pontianak, Singkawang, Sambas (West Kalimantan), Jayapura, Merauke (Papua), Tasikmalaya (West Java), Kupang (NTT), Jakarta and many other places. UNFPA has also used CLCP in some areas of programs that directly interact with communities.
