Work History

Amazon Warehouse

Amazon
Boise
10.2024 - 04.2025

I worked within a massive warehouse with many other people. The warehouse was full of conveyors which transported many different shapes and sizes of boxes. I was trained in many roles such as

Sorting: scan the boxes from the conveyors and place them upon the correct pallet.

Waterspider: wrap completed pallets, print their label and use a pallet jack to move them to the “completed” zone.

Staging: use pallet jacks to deliver and scan completed pallets into the correct trucks.

Non-conveyable: Same as sorting, just with much larger and heavier packages.

Moving Associate

College Hunks Hauling Junk & Moving
Boise
07.2024 - 10.2024

I would work with 1 other person, up to 4 other people to move people’s valuables from one home to another. Including houses, apartments, storage units, etc.

inconsistent hours as the homes varied.

First we would wrap all valuables such as collectibles, dishes, furniture or anything else which needed protecting. Then we would carefully pack boxes full of all these people’s items. Move all of their items into our 16-24ft trucks and move them to the next location. We would consistently carry heavy items such as boxes, fridges, safes, and furniture. Often times maneuvering them up multiple flights of stairs and through difficult corridors.

Ramp Agent

Boise Airport
Boise
10.2023 - 01.2024

As a ramp agent, I would work with a crew to bring in airplanes. First we would use our glowsticks, to be used as markers for the planes to safely dock. Once docked we would open the undercarriage of the plane to unload the luggage into carts. Which we would then drive into conveyors within the airport to unload for the passengers. Once fully unloaded we would enter the plane to check for anything suspicious such as weapons or firearms, followed by cleaning the planes. By wiping all of their seats and trays, cleaning up trash, puke, spills, leftover food, etc. once the cabin is cleaned and the plane is secured. We would plug in power for AC for the plane to remain overnight.

In the morning and during the day we would have send offs. We unplug the AC from the plane and make sure all of their seats are prepared for the passengers. As the passengers board, we would store their luggage in the cabin of the plane. Once boarded. We would have 2 men on the sides of the plane at the tips of the wings with glowsticks. And 1 man at the tip of the plane on a tug to push the plane out. We would push the plane out to the runway, unhook the tug and give the okay to the pilots for takeoff as we head back.
