While on patrol for the Cuyahoga County Sheriff’s Department, I found an unresponsive female. I secured the scene and noticed that she was unresponsive, likely due to cardiac arrest. I called for backup and started CPR until Deputy Oswick, who is also an EMT, arrived. The female was quickly taken to Metro Hospital, where she received surgery and survived.
