Our brand Kate Wood was born in Amsterdam in 2012 and has since found its home in Shanghai, China and Bali, Indonesia. We are a socially-conscious business featuring handcrafted items made from renewable resources. Each item is unique due to the structure of the wood and bamboo. Our first flagship store is located in the heart of Shanghai’s beautiful Former French Concession. We consciously chose this location so that we could build closer relationships with our craftsmen and ensure the quality of our products. A new eco-friendly and environmentally-sound brand, Kate Wood opened the doors to it’s second flagship store in Bali,Indonesia in May 2019, in Berawa, Canggu. Out of very cozy and organic-styled outlet we are selling all kinds of fascinating items made predominantly from bamboo, wood and re-cycled materials.


· Our star item, the retro natural fixie, which features an all-natural bamboo frame with natural hemp joints (we visited designer Paul Smith in the UK and made a customized version of this bicycle for him).
· We also have done successful collaboration with Italian brand Salvatore Ferragamo. The Bamboo bicycle is based on the idea of making handicrafts from renewable resources and is incorporated into the Ferragamo of the eye-catching Gancini monogram printed on the bamboo frame.
