Doreen Horn

As president of Lynx LLC I have grown the company from one truck and trailer to 20 trucks and trailers. As a female owned biasness owner I decided to become a DBE (Disadvantaged Business Enterprise) to enhance the operation and provide greater opportunities to grow the business and provide greater employment opportunities for my community. We employ, currently about 25 personnel to include Drivers, HR, Accounting, Mechanics, Maintenance and Dispatch personnel. Our business continues to expand.

I personally have overseen and implemented all policies and procedures and until this year actively ran the HR Department. Overseeing the entire business allows me to have complete understanding of my operations. With this advantage I have greater control over the daily operations and this benefits our employees, contractors and vendor.

This last year we opened up Elkhorn LLC which is a service and wholesale business for tires, wheels, AERO and mechanical services for South East Idaho. This adjunct give us greater efficiency for are own operations and in doling business, and supporting, independent contracts in southeast Idaho

Currently Lynx is engaged in opening a Gravel Pit. This will allow Lynx LLC to bid as a Prime as well as a Sub Prime. We anticipate it will begin operations in April or May of this year.
