I am currently employed as a Registered Nurse on the medical floor at St. Luke’s Magic Valley in Twin Falls, Idaho. Worked night shift (1900-0700) on weekends, balancing work with school commitments. Leveraged flexible schedule to maintain nursing position while pursuing education. During my time in this position, I performed all duties of a Registered Nurse, including administering medications and treatments prescribed by healthcare providers. and educating patients and families on care plans and health management strategies. I really enjoy talking with the patients and educating them on different strategies to optimize their health at home. I also acted as a preceptor and resource nurse on the floor, training both students and staff and assisting with patient care.

Provided nursing care in pulmonary specialized unit for 7 to 9 patients per night, enhancing time management and prioritization of patient care.

Administered IV hydration therapy using micronutrients, enhancing patient well-being and promoting healthier lifestyles. Utilized IV nutrients such as Glutathione, B12, Glutamine, Vitamin C, and NAD+ to support individualized patient care. Monitored patients undergoing mild hyperbaric oxygen therapy at approximately 1.5 ATA, ensuring safety and comfort during treatments.

Gained comprehensive understanding of surgical processes during tenure in operating room at St. Luke’s Magic Valley campus, enhancing knowledge of advanced nursing practices before returning to medical/surgical floor due to personal reasons.

I assisted nursing and other clinical staff with patient movement throughout the St. Luke’s Magic Valley Twin Falls Campus. Maintained patient privacy and confidential patient information, and worked as part of a team to execute proper care of body mechanics and safety of patients.

Instructed suspects on field sobriety tests and utilized portable equipment for accurate assessment of impairment.

Mediated domestic disturbances and protected victims from harm while writing comprehensive arrest and accident reports.
