My exploration of art. In my childhood, my journey of art started with drawings in my high school notebook and accompanied by musical instruments.

  • Filipe Mariano was born in 1987 in the south of São Paulo, Brazil. From an early age, the vibrant city of São Paulo became the backdrop of my artistic journey. Through countless drawings in my highschool notes, I slowly discovered my passion for art. In 2012, I founded my own clothing brand, creating unique collections that incorporated different designs and colors, and in the process I discovered the combination of art and business. This led to exciting opportunities for the next chapter of my life until I stepped my feet on the island of God, Bali. On this Island, I develop and grow a collaborative brand, Mimpi Grocery

In 2020, Mimpi Grocery was born with a mission to serve a haven space for everyone. The name ‘’Mimpi’’ Derives from the Indonesian Language meaning ‘’dream’’, signifying belief in nurturing the dreams, both unique and modest, of each individual encounter.

Mimpi Grocery is more than just a place to stop by, we aim to provide a destination, a social-hub and a space to start the day an unwind after a long day. We provide an atmosphere for everyone to relax and enjoy limitless creativity and inspiration that are growing around. Hence, Mimpi is lovingly made to be a home for all

At the beginning of my adolescence, I started working in our small family clothing company that my parents developed in São Paulo. Their company produced uniforms for corporate companies. However, I felt that something was amiss and decided to venture out on my own. In 2012, I founded my own clothing brand VOAgallery, creating unique collections that incorporated different designs and colors, and in the process, I discovered my passion for art.

For me, entrepreneurship coupled with art always creates a differential, as it produces uniqueness and exclusivity, this belief drives me forward and forms the cornerstone of my business. In 2016 I Founded Backyard of Simple pleasure, a house of experience of the brand which people could connect. A multi-function coworking space in São Paulo, Brazil

In 2020, I founded the Mimpi Grocery space in Canggu, Bali, an artistic haven that empowers and provides opportunities for all to explore their creativity. During my construction journey in Bali, I delved deeper into my creative side, honing my skills in drawings, paintings and other mediums. THe led to exciting opportunities for brand partnerships and collaborations that share my vision.

In the meantime, I frequently head to the beach with other ocean lovers to surf , and also do long runs and workouts which energizes my soul.

Nowadays my passion and desire to explore new limits and inspiring people continue to fuel my creative journey as an individual.

At Mimpi Grocery, Filipe’s vision is to create a collaborative environment that motivates individuals to achieve their goals. As the founder and Creative Director, he oversees all aspects of the business, from developing business plans and arranging finances to managing human resources, reviewing sales trends, developing marketing strategies, and identifying new business opportunities.

Filipe's passion for creating a haven for creative individuals to find in-person inspiration is evident in the services offered at Mimpi Grocery. With his extensive experience working with diverse groups of people, such as artists, travelers, and philanthropists, he is well-positioned to offer every customer a unique and personalized experience.
