I am a caring and dedicated person who values family, faith, and meaningful connections with others. My goal in life is to help people reach new levels of happiness and success by sharing my love of religion, family, and the skills I've developed through my experiences. I have a unique way of connecting with people and showing love on a deeper level. I am deeply devoted to playing soccer, during my sophomore year of high school, I faced a major setback. However, I fought through adversity with determination, and the following year, I was nominated for special titles in the soccer program. This experience taught me valuable lessons about hard work, resilience, and not letting negative people or thoughts stand in my way. I also love to travel, meet new people, and learn about different cultures and ideas, which helps me grow both personally and professionally. Through my commitment to these values, I work to make a lasting difference in the lives of those around me.
I am a proud member of the National Honor Society, where I am working hard to complete seven hours of humanitarian service every 4 months. The activities I’ve chosen to fulfill these hours have taught me valuable lessons about teamwork and communication. Through these experiences, I’ve learned how to work well with others and confidently talk to new people, which has helped me grow both personally and socially. Being part of this group motivates me to continue giving back to my community and developing important skills.
I spent two and a half weeks working in the city of Trujillo, Peru, where I helped build a school for underprivileged children. This experience was life changing, as it made me realize how grateful I am for what I have. During that time, I was fully present, not distracted by my phone, which helped me connect deeply with the children and the community. This trip taught me how to be responsible and work hard due to the short amount of time we had to finish our project.
I worked at an orphanage in Mexico where I helped with various tasks around the facility. Despite language barriers, I was able to build meaningful connections with the people there. This experience taught me how to communicate effectively and connect with others, even when we didn’t share the same language, strengthening my skills and cultural understanding.
I worked on my family ranch where I gained hands-on experience in landscaping. My responsibilities included a lot of weeding, creating and maintaining a garden, cleaning out a barn, and caring for animals. This work taught me the value of hard work, getting along with fellow workers, and how to manage multiple tasks effectively.
