  • Supporting the integration and implementation of climate change adaptation and sustainable landscape activities under Objective 3-Improved Water Resources Management to Support Resilient Drinking Water Services.
  • Responsibilities include strengthening watershed management and water resources management (WSM and WRM) at national and regional levels through technical assistance, policy development, project planning, and identification of funding sources initiative (Adaptation Fund, Green Climate Fund, ESG of Private Sector).
  • Working closely with BAPPENAS, Ministry of Forestry, Republic of Indonesia, and Forestry Dinas at Provincial Level, Forest Management Unit (FMU/KPH), BRIN (National Research and Innovation Agency), BMKG.
  • This role involves collaboration with various teams and stakeholders to enhance watershed planning and management, ensuring the sustainable provision of raw water resources through Sustainable Landscape and Natural-based Solution (Agroforestry, Peatlands and Mangroves).
  • Key activities include conducting studies on climate change and water balance risks, conducted climate field school, providing technical support, and facilitating regular coordination to accelerate WSM, WRM project development across 38 cities and districts within 10 provinces (North Sumatera, West Java, Banten, Central Java East Java, West Kalimantan, East Nusa Tenggara, South Sulawesi, Papua and DKI Jakarta).
