Project Overview – LogicaCMG at PT Natrindo Telepon Seluler (AXIS Telekom Indonesia)
Contributed to a greenfield project that built PT Natrindo Telepon Seluler’s (later AXIS Telekom Indonesia, acquired by Saudi Telecom Company) entire telecommunications system from the ground up. Led the design and implementation of the Service Platform Network (SMSC, MMSC, WSB, PSA) and Business Support Systems (interconnect settlement, rating, mediation, provisioning, CRM). Ensured high availability and performance through Oracle 9i/10g database architecture, clustering, disaster recovery, and tuning. This project established AXIS as a fully operational national mobile operator, delivering 2G/3G services with scalable and secure infrastructure.


Contributions :

Oracle Database Installation, Configuration, and Upgrades:

  • Lead the installation, configuration, and upgrade of Oracle Database (versions 9i and 10g) across various environments, including Intec Servers, Provisioning Servers, Mediation Servers, and FirstHop Servers, on both production and development machines.
  • Set performance expectations for the team, monitoring progress towards goals and providing constructive feedback as needed.
  • Successfully upgrade Oracle Database from version 9.2.0.1 to 9.2.0.6, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal downtime.

Database Health Checks and Troubleshooting:

  • Perform comprehensive cross-checking of Oracle Databases to verify successful installation and error-free operation.
  • Provide ongoing technical troubleshooting and expert consultation to the development team to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Perform daily health checks for all database systems, ensuring optimal performance and system stability.

Backup and Recovery Management:

  • Created a robust disaster recovery plan to ensure business continuity in the event of hardware failures or natural disasters.
