I love solo travel. I have had 3 times solo travel and those were so interesting and impressive. First, I traveled to Japan on 2018, on that time I had just basic japanese therefore I had no enough bravery to talk with japanese but I needed to talk with them when I got lost or needed help. Railway in Japan was so confusing for me on first day. I needed to buy ticket by machine because it was written on kanji. Overall, I loved the culture of japanese people. They are so nice, helpful and open to foreigners. I plan to have solo travel there again next year.
Second, I traveled to China on 2019. It was so traumatic because everything they sold to me as foreigner was more expensive than normal. I bought simcard there and i just said yeahh okey because I didnt speak chinese. I paid and went out from that shop. I met someone from Malaysia in the train and asked them how much price of simcard. They told the price I paid was 3 times more expensive than simcard they bought. So i felt stupid because I didnt checked normal price before coming. There was lesson learned I got from travel China. Some people are good but some are not. So I said to my self "Stop being innocent by thinking that everyone in this earth is good".
The third, I traveled to Turkey which was the best travel i ever had. I fell in love to the people. I stayed with local in Istanbul because the son of the family was my friend who I met on social media. They treated me like family, had same food like the family had. The mother taught me how to cook turkish cuisine and they corrected my turkish languange when I got wrong vocabs to talk.
