Bedside and charge nursing in a 21-bed medical intensive care unit. Our hospital services the greater Treasure Valley area and the unit is a high-acuity intensive care unit that regularly manages patients on ventilator support and treats critically ill populations affected with septic shock, diabetic ketoacidosis, respiratory failure, renal failure, gastrointestinal bleeding, and more.

Bedside and charge nursing on a COVID-specialized unit, as well as bedside and charge nursing on an orthopedic unit. This included managing patients on high-flow nasal canula and BiPAP with COVID related respiratory disease, including patients with primary neurologic or cardiovascular injury with COVID as a comorbidity. The orthopedic unit serviced fresh post-operative elective and orthopedic trauma patients, as well as provided general medical overflow due to high-patient volumes in the growing Treasure Valley area.

Managing post-acute patients in a combined rehabilitation and assisted living facility. This included assisting patients in recovery after hospitalization through medication and care plan management, providing IV medication therapies, assessing patients' need for higher level of care, providing assistance to bedside nurses, and also managing patients as a bedside nurse.

Bedside nursing at a combined post-acute rehab center and assisted living facility. This included medication and care-plan management, working with on-site nurse practitioners to address patient needs in the post-acute setting, assessing patients' progress with their care plan, and providing support for LVN's with patient management.

Worked as an unlicensed assistive personnel to provide basic care for residents of an assisted living and memory care facility. This included assisting residents with activities of daily living, building rapport with residents and their families to provide effective and individualized care, and assisting nurses with early identification of illness and injury requiring a higher level of care.
