As a Digital Inclusion and Digital Equity Consultant, I am concerned about ensuring that everyone has access to the digital tools and resources they need to thrive in today's digital world. My journey into this field began with my own experience of growing up in a community where access to technology and digital resources was limited. I saw firsthand how this lack of access and knowledge can hold individuals and communities back, and I was inspired to use my skills and knowledge to make a difference. Drawing upon my academic foundation in Science and Technology Studies (STS), with specialized focus on Political-Economy of Development within the International Relations and Political Science domain, I possess a nuanced comprehension of socio-technological disparities. This interdisciplinary expertise enables me to synthesize complex technological frameworks with sociopolitical dynamics, particularly in addressing digital inequities. My academic background, coupled with practical experience in architecting and operationalizing digital equity and inclusion initiatives, allows me to forge unconventional yet innovative solutions that bridge technological gaps while remaining cognizant of underlying sociocultural determinants. This multifaceted approach, combining technical acumen with a deep understanding of underlying socio-economic factors that perpetuate digital disparities, positions me to design and develop comprehensive strategies that resonate with diverse stakeholder needs and institutional objectives. My background includes working with communities across diverse backgrounds and geographies, from urban centers to rural areas. I am highly passionate about creating solutions that are sustainable, scalable, and have a meaningful impact.
