1. Procurement & Sourcing Strategy
Develop procurement strategies for raw materials and packaging aligned with demand planning, production forecast, and cost targets.
Conduct supplier sourcing and mapping (local & international) to ensure supply continuity.
Develop alternative suppliers to mitigate risks such as single sourcing, force majeure , and price volatility.

2. Supplier Management
Lead price, MOQ, lead time, and payment term negotiations.

Value engineering without compromising quality
4. Purchasing Execution
Review and approve Purchase Requisitions (PR) and issue Purchase Orders (PO).
Monitor delivery schedules in line with production plans.
Resolve issues related to late deliveries, material shortages, and quality deviations.
5. Cross-Functional Coordination
Work closely with:
PPIC – demand and inventory planning
Production – material and packaging trials
QA/QC – quality issues and supplier audits
Finance – budgeting, payments, and invoice aging
Act as a key user for purchasing systems / ERP (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
6. Compliance & Governance
Ensure procurement activities comply with company SOPs and internal/external audit requirements.
Uphold procurement integrity and ethical standards (anti-bribery, transparency).
Maintain documentation for contracts, NDAs, and supply agreements.
7. Data Analysis & Reporting
Analyze price trends, consumption vs. forecast, and inventory turnover.
Prepare monthly procurement reports for management.
Provide data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making.

• Implemented the new procurement policy and led the procurement change management starting 2019 with provided training & transfer the administration task to the business partner.
