Company Overview: The PLANT is a highly integrated Refinery, Petrochemical and Aromatics scheme – ranked as 13 Nelson Index - processing 300,000 BPSD of medium-grade crude blends (Case A: 31º API, Case B: 28º API) and targeting the production of Euro 5 Gasoline, Jet A1, Euro 5 Diesel, MTBE, Sulphur, Paraxylene and Petrochemical commodities, such as, Styrene, MEG, LLDPE, HDPE and PP

Take the role of a Project Management Team (PMT) of the Electrical team for the Pertamina Rosneft Project Refinery, Petrochemical, & Electrical Power Plant at Tuban-Java, Indonesia and responsible for

  • Reviewing and approving electrical engineering design, including specification, datasheets, calculation study, layout, costing, etc
  • The project is to build an Integrated Refinery, Petrochemical and Aromatics plant also utilities will be generated within the complex consists Power plant, marine jetty, regasification, desalination, infrastructure and substation with voltage levels 150kV, 33kV, 11kV and 690V

  • Provide electrical engineering expertise throughout the project lifecycle
  • Review and analyze electrical engineering deliverables from Contractors during FEED, bidding, and EPC phases
  • Identify and address potential electrical design issues to ensure project specifications, codes, and standards compliance
  • Support the development and execution of electrical engineering work plans and schedules
  • Assist the PMT in developing and managing the project execution plan for the electrical engineering scope
  • Monitor and track the progress of electrical engineering activities against the project schedule and budget
  • Identify and manage risks associated with the scope of electrical engineering
  • Participate in the preparation and evaluation of bids during the bidding phase
  • Support contract negotiations with the selected Contractor for the electrical engineering scope
  • Work collaboratively with other engineering disciplines within the PMT to ensure project integration
  • Prepare clear and concise technical reports and presentations on electrical engineering aspects of the project
  • Effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Maintain clear and accurate project documentation related to the electrical engineering scope
  • Ensure adherence to best practices, standard specifications, and engineering codes within specified timelines for electrical system design
  • Provide technical guidance to the Project Manager and Engineering Manager on deviations from engineering codes, proposing design mitigation solutions
  • Offer recommendations and direction to facilitate project progress and ensure fitness for purpose
  • Investigate and resolve technical queries raised by contractors, providing input on equipment design development
