• Lead and supervise the import operations team, ensuring all import activities are executed efficiently, accurately, and in full compliance with international trade and customs regulations.
• Coordinate and manage over 100 international import shipments monthly from global suppliers, ensuring timely delivery and smooth customs clearance.
• Monitor and manage purchase orders, ensuring alignment between procurement planning and incoming shipments for medical equipment and supplies.
• Maintain strong coordination with international principals across Europe, the United States, and Asia to support efficient procurement and shipment planning.
• Collaborate closely with Supply Chain, Product, and Service departments to align import schedules with product demand and procurement planning.
• Work with freight forwarders, suppliers, and government authorities to ensure smooth customs clearance and full regulatory compliance.
• Analyze and optimize import logistics costs by identifying the most competitive freight rates and selecting efficient shipping solutions.
• Utilize strong negotiation skills with international freight forwarders to secure favorable freight rates and service agreements.
• Maintain accurate import documentation and compliance records for reporting, operational tracking, and audit purposes.
• Manage temporary import processes to support product demonstration projects for end customers.
• Apply strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to resolve shipment delays, documentation issues, and operational challenges.
• Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to improve import procedures and enhance overall supply chain efficiency.

• Supervise and guide the import and customs clearance team ensuring their work is accurate and timely.
• Oversee and ensure the timely and accurate handling of all import shipments, from initial order to final delivery.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and carriers.
• Dealing and negotiate freight costs to ensure cost efficiency.
• Develop and implement import/export policies and procedures. Ensure all supporting documents (Form E/AK/D/CO,etc) match the shipment details.
• Prepare, submit, and monitor all required import documentation and permits, including those from regulatory bodies such as AKL, BAPETEN, etc.
• Track and report on import quotas and the status of all required licenses.
• Handle temporary imports for demonstration purposes to end users.
• Monitor and report on key import performance indicators and the realization of import activity.
• Identify and implement ways to optimize the import process for efficiency and cost savings.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with government agencies, suppliers, and users.
• Stay updated on changes in government regulations that could impact the import process.
• Ensure compliance with all national and international customs regulations, especially those relevant to medical equipment.
• Communicate significant regulatory changes and their business implications to management.
• Prepare and process timely payments to suppliers and freight forwarders to avoid delays in shipment or clearance.
  

• Responsible for sourcing and procurement activities.
• Review and evaluate Purchase Request and ensure compliance with department and company policies and procedures.
• Generate Purchase Orders, monitoring and targeting procurement to provide on time, cost effectively and meet the standards.
• Manage and oversee all import and export operations, ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Source international and local suppliers for goods and materials required by the company.
• Work closely with suppliers/vendors, maintaining positive relationship while negotiating specifications, prices and deadlines.
• Reporting of foreign-exchange import activities through SIMODIS to the Bank of Indonesia.
• Project Management for CPAKB to the Ministry of Health of Indonesia.

• Review sales forecast and customer demand.
• Analyzing forecast raw materials with cost-effectively based on demand production.
• Create production schedules based on inventory levels and production times.
• Sourced suppliers/vendors both international and local for raw materials and also Purchasing for Factory construction needs.
• Manage and monitoring all procurement process to meet the requirement standards and deadlines.
• Manage and oversee all import operations, ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Managing invoicing and payments to all relevant parties

• Handling shipment export, import, domestic and trucking.
