- Design a plan for counselling services.
- Hold individual counselling sessions with students to assist in resolving social, academic, or personal issues.
- Listens compassionately and offers emotional support to pupils in order to assist them in solving problems.
- Assess students' needs and identify issues they are facing by conducting assessments.
- Collaborate with educators and school staff to create a comfortable environment.
- Share information with parents about their children's development and issues.
- Closely collaborate with educators and school personnel to assist parents in recognizing and meeting the needs of their children.
- If needed, refer students to additional professionals such psychologists, psychiatrists, or mental health services.
- Keep accurate and private records of therapy sessions and academic advancement.
- Create the reports needed for reporting and school evaluation.
- Educate students about mental health, stress management, and other life skills.
