Main Responsibilities and Key Activities:
• Sales development:
* Develop sales plan and control the operating budgets of business in Indonesia.
* Prospect, secure and expedite orders with existing and new accounts.
* Conclude business contracts (sales, distribution, etc.) to maintain business growth.
* Develop new markets and new applications.
* Attend to the claims and provide measures to resolve them.
* Prepare customer visits and other reports.
• Market intelligence:
* Conduct studies/analysis on market trend, competitors, products’ applications and technology, service needs and initiate appropriate action plan.
* Carry out market research project to develop competitor grid and benchmarking analyses.
* Prepare market, industry trends, competitors, customers’ reports on a regular basis.
* Arrange product testing and trial runs
* Attend to exhibitions in overseas area, to improve market knowledge.
• Customer & distributor management:
* Achieved sales targets consistently by driving daily sales activities and managing the sales pipeline effectively.
* Developed strong client relationships for repeat business and increased referrals.
* Maintain existing customers / account plans and improve business relationships.
* Manage relationship with principal in overseas area.
* Manage key accounts and distributors.
* Conduct field visits, seminars, exhibitions and attend to customer’s inquiries.
* Provide prompt response related to quality, technical applications, inquiries, and other related issues.
* Conduct customer’s assessments and analyses to ensure the strategic focus is in the right place.
* Cooperate with functional team to ensure best product, service quality and good information flow and solve customer’s issues.
* Increased profit margins by effectively controlling budget and overhead and optimizing product turns.
• Inventory management
* Provide data and timely feedback on end use market trends, and monthly sale forecast, to support defining and revising the levels of regional stock and allocation.
• Credit management:
* Ensure timely payment of receivables to meet established sales targets and revenue goals.
* Coordinate with credit control to make appropriate credit recommendation.
• Others
* Prepare sales performance report, and other relevant reports as assigned.
* Perform such other duties, which may be assigned by the Director from time to time.
