Additional Information

I began my nursing career right out of college in 1996 at a skilled nursing facility where I quickly rose from a floor nurse to the DON where I remained for15 years. During that time I would say I exceeded in learning State and Federal Regulation and standard polices and procedures related to skilled nursing. My second employment has been with Life Care, one building I was the DON for 3 years and currently I am in my 4th yr as the MDS Coordinator at a sister facility.


Accomplishments

  • MDS Reimbursement up 35% in skilled mix since I took over as the MDS Director
  • Facility maintained 5 Star Rating for at least 7 years
