• This was a private OR team. We were able to manage ourselves and communicate effectively and work together to be extremely efficient for the physicians we worked for.

Started as a med-surg floor nurse after graduating. Got a position in the OR and have been in the OR ever since. This was a smaller hospital but no other big hospitals around so we did whatever came through the door. I feel like I got a really good base of OR knowledge here. I feel extremely fortunate that this was a place I got to "grow up" as an OR nurse.
