I work with two men at their house. They have been room mates for many years, and while I have been working with them, I have helped them in many different ways over the years. Some of they ways I am able to help them succeed in their lives and become more independent are the following.

• Provided compassionate care to individuals, ensuring comfort and safety during daily activities.
• Assisted clients with personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management to enhance quality of life.
• Developed personalized care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals to address specific needs.
• Cleaned house, ran errands, and completed weekly grocery shopping.
• Assisted with dressing guidance, grooming, meal preparation, and medication reminders.
• Built strong relationships with clients to deliver emotional support and companionship.

At World Connection I worked for Tempur-Sealy. I was a Customer Service Representative for their call center. While working there, some of my responsibilities included.

• At Hisway I stayed in the same field as my previous job consisting of helping adults with disabilities. I worked with them at their houses and helped them with daily living and household responsibilities. I would assist them with cleaning their house, doing laundry, cooking meals, grocery shopping, administering medications, and other goals to help them become more independent.

• At LIFE Inc. I had similar responsibilities to my previous job at Community Partnerships of Idaho. I worked with both kids and adults that had mental and/or developmental disabilities. There were approximately eighty adults which we would work with in groups that ranged up to three different individuals at a time. We worked on more advanced life skills such as budgeting money, purchasing items and figuring out sales tax, as well as going out in the community to participate in events. I also worked with the kids after school and helped them further grow their social skills.

• At Community Partnerships of Idaho, I worked with kids that had mental and/or developmental disabilities. I would help them expand and grow new life skills such as social skills which include being appropriate around others and building relationships with peers/family, as well as life skills such as values of money, telling time, and personal hygiene.
