  • Managed all the spending in direct materials which have the direct impact to Gross Contribution Margin {as percentage of selling Price)
  • Managed the procurement requests and acted as point-contact for customers on manufacturing side, taking the account that Godrej Consumer Group - Indonesia is implementing the replenishment system, and have the production schedule arrangement in weekly basis. The agility and convincing skill is highly required on this particular roles
  • Replacements for rejected materials and missed and late deliveries from vendors, especially on FMCG the frequency are very high
  • Researched and evaluated new and current vendors to determine suitability of products and contract and pricing negotiations.
  • Negotiated complex corporate procurement contracts by working closely with internal and external contacts.
  • Developed and maintained relationships with key suppliers for smooth communication and to meet required expectations.
  • Sourced new vendors in effort to boost range of products offered in store locations while reducing costs through strategic contract negotiations.
  • Responsible for the New Product Launch- from the supply side - Means on the sourcing, of the new materials, confirming all pricing, confirming the lead time and MOQ meet the sales forecast , ensuring the gross Contribution Margin is still in line when the product being approved to be launched
  • Managing the import and the export department, along with the shipping agent and the government - Customs Department. Ensuring the import materials compliances with the regulations, despite the changes in the rules
  • Responsible to find the right partners for the third parties manufacturing, both for the new products or the existing products where we do not have enough capacity and not sure if the spike of increase sales will be for long time


  • Achievements :

a. Reducing the direct materials cost to % of sales, so GC can be improved (from buttom line)

b. Receiving of the Godrej International awards for the supply chain agility in all Godrej Group company {Consumer goods; Property and chemicals) in 2018

c. Outstanding Performance (5 out of 5 rating) for the yearly performance for the last 9 years in a row

d. Yearly received Godrej GCPL award in many different initiatives

  • Back Ground of the Company:

a. Yupi Gummy Candy was a join venture bwith Trolli GMBH, one of a

world class gummy manufacturer in Europe

b. Yupi Indo Jelly Gum was planned for the domestic Indonesia only

c. Products run well in Indonesia, all production capacity only served

for Indonesia business and consider a hit product in that period

d. Asian financial crisis hit hard in 1997, so in September 1997 Yupi

decided to look at export business, specifically to Asia Pacific

e. Yupi managed to add the 300% capacity during 1997 - 2008 on the

export business dominated up to 85-90% of the sales


  • Scope Of Work

a. Finding the right Distributor in each countries { sending lots of mails,

join exhibitions, survey, market visits and great relationship with

customers)

b. Understanding the market, from Modern or the general Trade

c. Have country manager to some countries for the KPI achievement

especially penetration of the sales


  • Achievements:

a. starting from zero value, in 2008 we managed to have the sales turn

over only for sales up to USD 52 million in yearly basis

b. Within those periods of time, Yupi managed to add the extra

capacity by buying two more new machines and make the total of

three manufacturing machines in total

c. Managed to analyze and differentiate as per the agreement:

* Distributor agreement, where Yupi Indonesia have the strategic

cooperation from the distribution; promotion; TVC, should be

discussed, shared and approved

ASEAN countries; Asia Pacific are the countries focus on this

category

* Private Label where mainly to Europe and USA countries, and do

manufacturing as per order. Good to have the production capacity

to be filled
