Meidy Ferdiansyah

Meidy Ferdiansyah is an experienced sharia banker who has 20 years of experience in the sharia banking industry. He started his career as a Management Trainee at PT Bank Syariah Mandiri, and was one of the best graduates of the program. During his 20 year career, he has held various strategic positions. What's interesting is that he has experience in various fields, which has shaped him into a unique person with diverse competencies. The fields he has entered include Marketing Communication, Human Resources, Strategic Planning, and Business Development.
This long career experience has made him a leader who has strategic thinking and is skilled at making strategic decisions. This is also supported by his educational background, which is a graduate of the Faculty of Economics, University of Indonesia and Masters in Strategic Management at Prasetiya Mulya Business School.
Meidy's competence and expertise are very useful in overseeing the mega merger process of state-owned sharia banks in 2021. As VP Marketing Communication at that time, she managed the branding transformation of the legacy sharia bank into Bank Syariah Indonesia. The communication and branding carried out by BSI has led BSI to achieve extraordinary achievements today, and has a good reputation in the market. Through an integrated communication strategy between above the line, below the line and digital marketing, BSI can align itself with the top banks in the national banking arena, and strive to become the top ten global banks in the world.
Meidy also has a number of professional certifications, which gives her credibility in her professional career. These professional certifications include Certified Financial Planner (2013), Islamic Finance Qualification (2016), Certified Human Resources Professional (2025), and Ericksonian Professional Coach (2018).
Meidy is also active in various philanthropic activities. He is the Secretary of the BSI Maslahat Foundation (formerly the BSM Umat Foundation), which carries out many social and community development activities. He is a true learner who enjoys reading, and recently will soon release his first book in the field of financial planning.
