• Research Consultant, Swipe Rx Singapore, 10/2023, 11/2023, Designed a study on the study on Pharmacy’s New Role as Health Hub, in support of the business development of health insurance and pharmacy company, SwipeRX, to go beyond delivery of medicine into primary health care providers for the community., Designed and conducted FGD and interviews with pharmacists in Jakarta and collect information about their experience, challenges and aspiration as pharmacists in delivering medicine and their readiness to deliver health check-up, provide health information and promotion to communities, Synthesis the data and present to the partner client
• Research Consultant, Asian Development Bank (ADB), 10/2021, 01/2022, Lead qualitative research and analysis on Sustainable Childcare Investment in Indonesia initiated by the Asian Development Bank. This research is part of the Asia Pacific Initiative to Strengthen Care Investment in Asia Pacific, facilitated by International Development Studies (IDS), UK., Supervise a co-researcher in data collection, coding, transcribing and analysing the data., Design data collection strategy and prepare fieldwork and lead the data collection activity during the pandemic using both online and offline interview and FGDs., Liaise with respondents and resource person from the community, government and non-government officials., Conduct triangulation of the collected data from different method and approaches, Write research findings and recommendation for the ADB.
• Adjunct Researcher, Lembaga Demografi, Universitas Indonesia, DFAT Funded research project, 01/2021, PRESENT, Lead qualitative research design and analysis on Social Norms and Women’s Employment in Urban Indonesia project, funded by the Investing in Women Project and PROSPERA (the Australian Government’s DFAT economic programs in Indonesia), Design qualitative research plan for the study and lead the data collection activity during the pandemic using both online and offline interview and FGDs., Develop research question, method and analysis for the study data and analyse, Conduct triangulation of the collected data from different method and approaches, write reports and recommendation for PROSPERA and Investing in Women, as well as present the findings in front of the donor.
• Gender Equity, Disability, and Social Inclusion (GEDSI) Analysis Specialist, Australia-Indonesia Health Security Programs (AIHSP), DFAT Funded, 12/2020, 03/2021, Design GEDSI strengthening capacity building for AIHSP Staff by involving experts and consultants in Indonesia and Australia on issues related to vulnerability, gender equality and disability inclusion., Co-design the Gender Awareness Study among government partners (Ministry of Health and Ministry of Agriculture), monitor the tender process and implementation stage., Liaise with AIHSP staff at the national, provincial and district levels to explore and strengthen gender equality data collection and evidence for DFAT (donor) and sustainability purposes, Develop criteria for gender equality and disability inclusion in AIHSP program activity reporting for internal and external parties, Monitor activity implementation and collect data from the district and provinces related for enhancement of gender equality and its intersections with disability inclusion, Conducted a provincial analysis on Gender Equity, Disability, and Social Inclusion (GEDSI) focused on Bali and South Sulawesi provinces. The analyses covered how women, men, people with disability, the elderly, ethnic groups and the LGBT experience health, including how they access/do not access health facilities. The study also covers how Covid19 pandemic affects and GEDSI in Bali and South Sulawesi.
• Field Researcher, Tanoto Foundation funded, 11/2020, 03/2021, Successfully wrote synthesis and analysis on Unlocking Learning Outcomes in Indonesia by focusing the linkages between early childhood and education learning outcome in Indonesia. The task included the literature review and data analysis on Indonesia’s regulations, statistics and education studies., The research was aimed to provide to Tanoto Foundation on factors that might affect student’s learning outcome and recommend some intervention to improve it, particularly in areas where Tanoto Foundation work in Indonesia.
• Research Assistant, University of Western Australia, 08/2020, 06/2022, The research was conducted as part of Prof. Lyn Parker´s Australian Research Council (ARC) Discovery Project on ´Social, Economic and Health Vulnerabilities in Indonesia´, Synthesise the field data collection to draw on women ‘e experiences and daily life in Western Sumatra, particularly related to poverty and vulnerability
• Research Consultant, Individual Deprivation Measure (IDM), Australian National University, 03/2020, 06/2022, Conduct analysis on media opinion and government statement on how different groups in Indonesia experience Covid19 pandemic (gender, disability, education, employment, and other vulnerable groups), Prepare narrative report on the media and government statement analysis to the Individual Deprivation Measure (IDM) team leader, Provided translation to various publications and policy briefs of IDM Projects from English to Bahasa Indonesia.
• Consultant, Gender, The World Bank Indonesia, 03/2019, 06/2020, Conducted research related to women’s work opportunity and challenges gender in Indonesia, focusing on female labour employment and care options required to fulfil the work opportunities, Conducted assessment, mapping on gender risks and Gender-based Violence prevalence in post-disaster location in South Sulawesi., Designed and facilitated the Gender Workshop for Central Sulawesi Reconstruction and Rehabilitation Project (CSRRP) by inviting key speakers from national and subnational government, UN, and NGOs., Initiated the Gender Action Plan for CSRRP as a follow up to the above Gender Workshop, Liaise with the Ministry of Public Works and Housing on the preparation of Gender Workshop and Action Plan
